Maribou State release two new live tracks from their Spotify Singles session, including a cover of Dusty Springfield’s ‘Spooky’

Maribou State release two live tracks recorded at London’s legendary RAK studios as part of their Spotify Singles session. Featuring an additional string-section and an 8 person choir, the band are joined by long-time vocalist Holly Walker for live renditions of “Kingdoms In Colour” favourite ‘Glasshouses’ and a version of Dusty Springfield’s classic ‘Spooky’.

Their latest album "Kingdoms In Colour” earned the band a #25 spot on the UK album charts, was 6-Music’s ‘Album Of The Day’ and received huge support from Annie Mac, Nick Grimshaw, Gilles Peterson, Tom Ravenscroft, Lauren Laverne, Steve Lamacq, Nemone and many more, with the band also performing live on Lauren Laverne’s show. Press support came from the likes of NME, Mixmag, GQ and Crack Magazine, with Mixmag naming them as one of their ‘Artists Of The Year’ 2018.

The band also followed up an incredible sold-out performance at London’s iconic Roundhouse, with the announcement that their forthcoming Brixton Academy show - on March 7th 2019 - had sold-out in a matter of weeks. With the UK leg of their upcoming live tour completely sold-out, they also head out across Europe and the US for sold-out shows in Amsterdam, Paris, Berlin, Vancouver, LA and San Francisco.
